Butter Popcorn with Salted Caramel Macarons for Timmy...

These were to reward Timmy for doing a week's worth of on-call for me...well worth the effort, I think!



To make the macarons, follow the salted caramel macaron recipe here.



Before you set the shells aside to rest, pop some butter flavoured microwave popcorn (you won't need the whole bag - only a handful). Pulse in a food processor until you have a fine crumb (but not too fine - you want to be able to tell it's popcorn still).


Sprinkle the shells with popcorn and allow to rest.



Sandwich with salted caramel, and you're done!
